Call for Abstract

Authors are invited to submit abstracts to the 11th Annual Congress of Asian Society for Vascular Surgery (ASVS 2010) which will be held in Kyoto, Japan.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee and selected paper will be assigned to the appropriate session for oral or poster presentation. We recommend you carefully read the abstract submission guideline below and submit abstracts according to the submission instructions.

 

 

Important Dates

On-line Abstract Submission: February 1 - March 31 May 17, 2010 (24:00 JST)

Abstract Withdrawal or Revision: before March 31 May 17, 2010 (24:00 JST)

Abstract Acceptance Notification: the end of April May, 2010

 

 

Instruction for Abstract Submission

  1. Abstracts must be written in English.
  2. In preparation of the abstract, please adopt the following structured format:
    [Original Article]  Purpose - Methods - Results - Conclusions
    [Case Report] Objectives - Case Description - Conclusions
  3. The content of the abstract is solely the responsibility of the author, and any published articles will not be accepted.
  4. If you plan to copy your abstract contents from another file and paste them onto the online program, the original text must have been written in a MS word (97-2003) format.
  5. The title should contain no more than 30 words and the body of abstract should be no longer than 300 words with in one page, A4 size paper (210mm x 297mm). Text beyond the limits will be truncated.
  6. Please be careful typing words and proofread before submit your abstract. Any errors, misspellings, incorrect hyphenation, faint typing will be published exactly as submitted.
  7. Note that characters and symbols must be inserted into the document using the INSERT SYMBOL function.
  8. Please do not include any references, tables, figures, or any other graphics in your abstract.
  9. When you submit your abstracts through the on-line, your abstracts will be automatically edited according to the designated format.

Abstract Submission Method

  1. Abstract(s) must be submitted using the online Abstract Submission Page. Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract. Only Presenting Author may submit the abstract and should indicate the preferred type of presentation during online abstract submission.
  2. Please do not send abstract(s) to the secretariat by mail or fax which cannot be forwarded to the Scientific Program Committee for review.
  3. In case of genuine difficulty in online submission, please make contact with ASVS2010 Abstract Submission Office at asvs2010-p@ics-inc.co.jp or by fax, +81-3-3219-3626.
  4. Confirmation of Acceptance via e-mail will be sent to Presenting and Corresponding Authors upon completion of abstract form. If you do not receive a confirmation slip within 7 days after abstract submission, please contact ASVS2010 Abstract Submission Office at asvs2010-p@ics-inc.co.jp
  5. Abstracts accepted for presentation (oral or poster) will be published in the Abstract Book.
  6. In order for abstracts to be published, the presenting author must pre-register for the ASVS 2010 Conference before May 31, 2010. Without registration, your accepted paper cannot be included in the scientific program or Abstract Book.
